Providing GPU compute resources through Aethir Atmosphere enables you to contribute to the decentralized cloud gaming rendering network.

Here’s a step-by-step guide on how to get started with Aethir Atmosphere.

Setting Up Your Rendering Containers

  1. Download the System Image for System Installation

Complete the installation of this image file and restart the system.

  1. Download Environmental Deployment Package

Unzip, and run it as administrator. Afterwards, install the python_libs.

  1. Download Configuration Files

Begin by downloading the necessary configuration files from the account settings page. These files are essential for setting up your rendering containers and ensuring they are configured correctly. Put container_config.xml into C:\\cg-config.

  1. Download and Setup Moduls

Download model package and put x86-aethir-ars.zip into C:\\cg-container, install on your container. Then restart your container.

This step ensures that the server’s configuration details are correctly submitted to the Aethir platform.

  1. Configure Access and Specifications

Refresh the Containers page to confirm that the configuration has been detected and submitted.

Click Configure on the server record to configure the access IP, port, and specification type for each of your containers to ensure efficient execution of rendering tasks.

Make sure to double-check all entries to avoid any configuration issues.

Platform Checking

After submitting your servers, Aethir platform will verify their configuration and accessibility first before onboarding them onto the platform.

Staking Your Containers

Once your containers are submitted and verified, stake them on the Aethir platform. Staking helps ensure network stability and prepares your containers for service.

First, select the servers to stake from Servers page and click Stake either individually or in a batch.

In the page that follows, confirm the staking amount and click Stake with Wallet to stake.

You can only use ONE web3 wallet for all transactions on Aethir and it cannot be changed later. Make sure to choose the correct wallet for the first time.

Start Gaining ATH Rewards

After staking, your servers become available for service on the Aethir network. You can start gaining ATH rewards based on the computational power you provide and the stability of your resources.

Managing Your Containers

Use the Containers dashboard to manage your servers effectively. Monitor their status, performance, and configuration details.

Container Status

  • Confirming Specification: after installing setup scripts and before confirming and submitting your servers to the platform

  • Checking: after confirming and submitting your servers to the platform, and pending platform verification.

  • Waiting for Staking: after platform verification, waiting for providers to stake

  • In Service: after staking, the server is onboarded onto Aethir

  • Offline: the server is detected offline

Container Details

Check container details and their service status in container Details popup.
