How to Acquire ATH

To participate on the Aethir network, you may need to acquire ATH tokens. The process inlcudes:

  • Purchase ATH on cryptocurrency exchanges, or swap directly on Uniswap

  • Bridge ATH to Arbitrum if it is currently on Ethererum.

Purchase ATH on Exchanges

ATH is available for purchase on the following cryptocurrency exchanges:

You can create an account on a supported exchange, deposit funds, and then buy ATH tokens.

Swap Directly on Uniswap

If you don't have an exchange account, you can swap directly on Uniswap here.

  1. Connect your wallet.

  2. Select the token you want to swap from (e.g., ETH) and ATH as the token you want to receive.

  3. Enter the amount you wish to swap and confirm the transaction.

Once completed, your ATH will be deposited into your wallet.

Important:

  • ETH and ATH on Multiple Networks: Both ETH (Ethereum's native token) and ATH can exist on both the Ethereum network and the Arbitrum network.

  • Wallet Compatibility: Ensure you are using a wallet that is compatible with both the Ethereum and Arbitrum networks.

Bridging ATH between ETH and ARB

ATH tokens are primarily traded on the Ethereum network while Aethir operates on Arbitrum. After purchase, you'll need to bridge your tokens from Ethereum to Arbitrum.

Reversely, after earning ATH tokens on Aethir platform, you can bridge it from ARB to ETH for selling or staking.

Steps:

The steps to bridge ATH from ETH to ARB are as follows. The steps from ARB to ETH are similar with "Arbitrum One" as the source network and "Ethererum" as the destination.

  1. Transfer ATH to a Hot Wallet: If your ATH is currently stored on an exchange, transfer it to a compatible hot wallet (e.g., MetaMask) that you can connect to the bridge.

  2. Access the Squid Router Bridge: Go to the Squid Router bridge website.

  3. Connect Your Wallet: Click on "Connect Wallet" and select your wallet provider (e.g., MetaMask).

  4. Select Networks:

    • Choose "Ethereum" as the source network.

    • Choose "Arbitrum One" as the destination network.

  5. Select Token: Choose ATH as the token you want to bridge

  6. Enter Amount: Specify the amount of ATH you want to bridge.

  7. Approve and Bridge:

    • Click "Approve" to allow the bridge to access your ATH.

    • Then click "Bridge" to initiate the transfer.

  8. Confirm and Wait:

    • Review the transaction details, including gas fees (paid in ETH on the Arbitrum network).

    • Confirm the transaction in your wallet.

    • The bridging process may take a few minutes to complete.

Important Notes:

  • Only use Squid Router for bridging ATH between Ethereum and Arbitrum.

  • Gas Fees: The bridging process requires a gas fee, which is paid in ETH on the Arbitrum network. Ensure you have enough ETH on Arbitrum to cover this fee.

  • Transaction Time: The time for the transaction to complete can vary depending on network congestion.

  • Completion: Once the transaction is completed, your ATH will be available on the Arbitrum network, ready for staking and contributing your compute power.
