Last updated 10 months ago

Renting a server on Aethir Earth allows you to access high-performance bare metal GPU resources for your projects. Follow these steps to rent a server and get started:

Step 1: Access the Servers Page

Navigate to the "Aethir Earth" section on the side menu and select "Servers." Here, you will see a data summary and map showing available server locations, the total number of available servers and available servers by location.

Click on the "Rent Servers Now" button to start the process of renting a server.

Step 2: Select Region and GPU

On the "Rent Server" page, choose the region where you want the server to be located and the type of GPU you need.

Step 3: Select Server Specifications

Browse through the list of available servers, filtered by CPU type and memory size if needed.

The list of servers are grouped by specification type which includes CPU architecture, # of GPUs and their type, and bandwidth category.

Under each specification types, individual servers are listed with more details, such as memory, disk size and network interface info.

Select the servers that match your requirements by clicking the checkbox next to each server.

In an order, you can only select servers under a single specification.

Step 4: Select Duration

Select the order duration by month or week and how many months or weeks. Note that certain discounts are available for a longer duration.

Step 5: Review and Confirm Order

On the right side of the page, you will see the "Order Details" section. Review the selected servers, total duration, and the calculated cost. Confirm the details and proceed to payment.

Step 6: Make Payment

Choose your payment method. You can Pay with wallet Balance or, if without enough balance, Top up and Pay in one go.

Note that if you have ongoing charges, Top up and Pay might fail as the topped-up balance may be immediately consumed by your ongoing charges. Please make sure you have enough balance in wallet for a smooth experience.

Complete the payment process to finalize the server rental.

Step 7: Manage Your Servers

Once the payment is confirmed, your rented servers will appear in the "Servers" section under the "Aethir Earth" tab. Here, you can monitor the status, service terms and other details.

Server access details can be found in the Details popup.

By following these steps, you can efficiently rent and manage high-performance GPU servers on Aethir Earth, ensuring your projects have the computational power they need.
