# Rewards and Service Fees for Cloud Hosts

By joining the Aethir network, Cloud Hosts can earn through two primary channels: Rewards and Service Fees.

[**Rewards**](https://docs.aethir.com/aethir-cloud/aethir-cloud-host/rewards-and-service-fees-for-cloud-hosts/rewards-for-cloud-host) are distributed in ATH tokens and are based on [**Proof of Capacity (PoC)**](https://docs.aethir.com/aethir-cloud/aethir-cloud-host/rewards-for-cloud-host#proof-of-capacity-poc-rewards) and [**Proof of Delivery (PoD)**](https://docs.aethir.com/aethir-cloud/aethir-cloud-host/rewards-for-cloud-host#proof-of-delivery-pod-rewards). These mechanisms ensure fair compensation, incentivize participation, and maintain the network’s efficiency.

[**Service Fees**](https://docs.aethir.com/aethir-cloud/aethir-cloud-host/rewards-and-service-fees-for-cloud-hosts/service-fees-for-cloud-host) are payments made by [**Cloud Customers**](https://docs.aethir.com/what-is-aethir-cloud#for-cloud-customers) for cloud rendering services, compensating Cloud Hosts for their computational resources. While these fees are denominated in fiat currency, settlements are conducted in ATH tokens.
